Continuous Form Bursters
Formax Bursters are used
to separate or "break apart" continuous feed business forms
or computer paper at the horizontal perforation. In many cases, the
pin-feed on each side of the form is removed automatically and in some
applications center slitters are used to further separate the form
vertically into a left and right piece. Users with high volume will
often run a Merger in-line with the burster to allow "two-up" processing.
Two-up processing increases the output volume two-fold by taking a
continuous business form printed two-up or side-by-side, slitting the
two forms in the middle and feeding them into the burster in staggered
format to come out of the machine in one neat and orderly stack.
Four different models of Industrial Bursters are available to fit almost any environment. All of our models can be custom ordered to meet every customer's particular needs by including a wide array of options such as pin-feed trimmers, tractors, imprinters, power drop-stackers for high output, mergers and much more.
Cut Sheet Bursters
A Cut Sheet Burster is
the ideal finishing solution when multiple forms are printed per page.
Direct from a laser printer to the machine, pre-perforated forms are
automatically burst at perforation and stacked sequentially at high
speeds. No more cut sheet bursting by hand!
Cut Sheet Cutters
A Cut Sheet Cutter is designed
to process up to 50 cut sheet forms per minute, from nonimpact or laser
printers. It will automatically feed the forms and cut, slit, or perforate
in the desired position. This machine is ideal for use with checks,
coupons, tickets, membership cards, notices and labels.
Decollators
Formax Decollators are used to separate
multi-part continuous forms prior to being run through a Burster. Decollators
are commonly used to separate anywhere from two to six-part forms in
one pass. Continuous business forms still using traditional carbon
between sheets can also have the carbon removed and rolled into a neat
pile to be discarded. Formax Decollators also have the option of including
slitters for removing pin-feed, and tractors for smooth processing.
